Education Breakfast Briefing: Effective Governance
January 30, 2025 @ 8:00 am - 10:00 am
Following the continued success of our Breakfast Briefings, Rollits and YoungPlus Limited are delighted to announce the third series of briefings for education sector leaders and those responsible for governance of the sector, which are FREE to attend. The sessions cover exemplar case studies and legal considerations to ensure compliance with your obligations and manage possible risk. In addition, we give a very practical strategic and operational view of each topic from the perspective of leaders within the sector. These ‘bite size’ opportunities for continuing professional development and learning aim to give a practical training resource to enable a wider number of professionals in your organisation to benefit from the information shared.
Part 2 – Running an Effective Governance Meeting
Investing in quality development for Chairs and those with responsibility for governance at all levels can be challenging. This session run by our specialists in the Governance and Charities team will offer insight into ensuring segregation of duty, supporting board members to better understand their role and provide appropriate challenge to leaders.
Ensuring effective meetings are a regular feature of governance in your organisation is crucial to avoiding risk and ensuring you are following statutory guidance, procedures and best practice in the sector and beyond.
