How we are supporting the Poppy Appeal

How did you support The Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal last year?  Did you buy a poppy?

This year Rollits is supporting The Poppy Appeal by adding a ‘poppy’ to our logo on our website.

As the cost of living crisis bites and economic uncertainty looms in 2024, fundraising for all charities is likely to suffer again, potentially causing significant damage. Initiatives like The Poppy Appeal are therefore crucial.

The British Royal Legion needs to continue to raise its much-needed funds and the Poppy Appeal is the British Legion's biggest fundraiser. All of the money raised from the sale of poppies goes towards providing support to serving and ex-serving personnel and their families. This includes providing financial assistance, employment support, and mental health care.

So besides supporting our charities of the year, Bliss and Macmillan Cancer Support, we are supporting The Royal British Legion by encouraging staff to wear a poppy to show remembrance and respect for those who have served and sacrificed their lives for their country and by adding a poppy to our logo and making a donation
