Lawyer makes the move from grandfather’s firm to join Rollits

A solicitor who took her first steps in the legal profession with the practice founded by her grandfather 80 years ago has made the move to join the property department at Rollits.

Georgina Gibbon, who comes from Caistor in Lincolnshire, graduated from Northumbria University in 2013 and qualified as a solicitor two years later.

She specialised in property for nearly 10 years with BG Solicitors LLP, which was founded by her grandfather in 1944. Georgina worked across Lincolnshire and East Yorkshire and became Partner in charge of the firm’s property department.

At Rollits, Georgina is undertaking all aspects of residential property law. She specialises in right of first refusal and handles other work including all matters around sales, purchases and leases of land.

Georgina Gibbon said “I am delighted to have joined Rollits’ property team.  For many years, I have focused on providing exceptional legal services to residential property clients, and I am confident that my experience in conveyancing matters and in particular property trust deeds, deeds of easement, overages and option agreements, will seamlessly integrate with the team's existing strengths.

“Rollits’ reputation for exceptional client service is well-deserved, and I am eager to contribute to its continued success. I look forward to collaborating with my new colleagues and delivering the excellent outcomes that our clients expect.”

Neil Franklin, Partner and Head of Property at Rollits, said: “I am delighted that Georgina has joined our team and I look forward to working alongside her in looking after clients from Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and beyond.”
