Josh’s interest in a legal career came about in a somewhat unintended way. Originally intending to study Maths at A-Level, he switched to Law instead which he found he really enjoyed, and continued to study it at University, going on to achieve top grades in both his Undergraduate and Postgraduate studies..
A legal career not only offers Josh an intellectually stimulating challenge but also allows him to continue with his interest in business and economics.
Career
Josh graduated from the University of Manchester with a law degree before moving to the University of Law in Manchester to complete his Legal Practice Course. He began his training contract at Rollits in September 2021 and qualified as a solicitor in September 2023 joining the corporate team to assist with acquisitions, disposals and reorganisations.
His achievements at Postgraduate level were recognised when he received the Willis Mills Prize 2021 from the Hull Incorporated Law Society for the highest grade in the Business, Law and Practice module.
