Annual Employment Tribunal Statistics 2011/12
The Ministry of Justice has just published the annualEmployment Tribunal and EAT statistics (to 31 March2012).
These show a 15% fall in the number of ET claims but thatcosts awards are up from 487 to 1,411 (an astonishing 92% beingawarded in favour of Respondents).
The mean average unfair dismissal award is currently £9,133with the median average at £4,560.
