Rollits advises Riverford Organic on BoxFresh deal
Rollits Food Group has advised Riverford OrganicVegetables on its acquisition of BoxFresh Organics and itswholesale arm Flights Orchard Organics.
Riverford is the UK`s largest box scheme supplier of organicfruit, vegetables and other food with a retail turnover of around£44m and BoxFresh is the third largest box scheme operator with4,000 deliveries a week from its bases in Shropshire andHerefordshire.
Riverford is headquartered at Wash Farm in Devon and hasother sites at farms in Cambridgeshire, Yorkshire and Hampshire,enabling Riverford to provide national coverage of organicvegboxes.
Riverford's MD Jack Slatter commented: "We are a good fitwith BoxFresh customers and, in areas we already operate in, itwill double our wholesale business."
