Rollits Launch iPhone App with help from Bear Hands Studio
Rollits has just launched an innovative iPhone App withthe help of two graduates of Hull College, Claire Anthony and SteveConlan.
Free to download from the iTunes store, the main features ofthe app include a "Contact Us" section giving direct access topartners email and telephone numbers and a "How to Find Us" buttonwith directions to the firm`s Hull and York Offices.
Claire and Steve graduated from Hull College in July 2011and formed their own company Bear Hands Studio, which specialisesin creating commercial iPhone and iPad applications, with help fromthe Net315 project. They are also currently working on an iPad gamefor children, which is due to be released in thesummer.
Net315 provides college students and members of thecommunity with the opportunity to make their business ideas areality, by taking advantage of the unique business environmentoffered by the Enterprise Gateway on site at theCollege.
The project offers support, information and guidance toassist with starting a business and becoming self-employed.Together with the running of enterprise activities, Hull Collegeoffers physical space for students to attend workshops, hot deskand run their business. Specialist partners (including Rollits)offer mentoring services, workshops, virtual networking andenterprise related events and programmes running within and outsideof the college network.
The overall aim of the project is to increase the number ofsuccessful, sustainable and growing businesses in Yorkshire and theHumber.
