Rollits supports the Renewables Awards by sponsoring Humber Renewables Champion Category
Highlighting the Humber`s strengths is vital in attractingcontinued green energy investment, according to a legal expertspecialising in the renewables industry.
Richard Stirk, Head of the Renewables Sector team at Rollitssaid it was increasingly important to showcase how much the regionhas to offer the renewable energy market, given the potential tobring new business and jobs to the area.
It comes as Rollits announced its sponsorship of the HumberRenewables Awards 2012, which recognise individuals, organisationsand businesses that are working to develop renewables as a majorindustry in the region.
The Humber Renewables Awards are being hosted by Hull-basedpublic relations and marketing company Footprint Renewables, inassociation with Mail News & Media, publisher of the Hull DailyMail.
Eight award categories are available to enter and a panel ofindependent judges, drawn from the renewables industry and localbusiness community, will select the winners - who will be announcedat a dinner at The Deep in Hull on March 2.
Rollits is sponsoring the Humber Renewables Champion categoryof the awards.
This award is aimed at those who have raised the profile ofthe Humber area in the renewables arena and who have positivelypromoted the region`s potential to be a leader in the renewablessector therefore helping to attract new investment, jobs orwork.
Mr Stirk said promoting and outlining the region`s qualities,both locally and beyond, is needed in the fast-paced sector ofgreen energy.
